We are a property development company based in Brixton, looking to recruit a part time experienced Office Administrator to join our small team.
The main focus of the role is to assist with the day to day administration of our rental management business. Previous office administration experience is essential and you will need lots of initiative and be able to work independently.
Job Title: Property Office Administrator
Hours of work: Monday – Friday, 9:30am - 2:30pm. There can be a certain amount of flexibility for the right candidate.
Salary: £15,000 - £17,000, depending on experience.
Holiday: Pro rata basis.
Main duties:
Making routine telephone calls, liaising with tenants as necessary.
Answering e-mails in a timely fashion.
Reviewing property management regulatory requirements e.g. EPCs, gas and elec certificates etc.
Booking any property maintenance visits and ensuring check-ins and check-outs are carried out in an orderly fashion.
Maintaining the in-house tenant and property database; inputting, checking and reviewing information regarding leases, insurance, mortgages, notice periods, service charges, bank details etc.
Checking tenants’ accounts are up-to-date and report any discrepancies to the Director.
Issuing invoices for management services to the landlords.
Maintaining files in an orderly fashion.
Some PA work will be required on behalf of the Director.
Requirements for the role:
Office administrative experience
Professional telephone manner
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Excellent verbal and written English language skills, including grammar and spelling, with keen attention to detail
Able to follow instructions accurately
Strong time-management skills and ability to prioritise workload effectively
experience working within a similar small sized company is preferable.
Computer literate – Must be able to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of Excel, Word and other office programs.
Demonstrate strong analytical and numerical skills.
Be able to multitask and have a can-do attitude as it is a must for this job.
Full clean driving license in case any out of office visits are necessary.
Must have rights to work in UK.
Fluency in both verbal and written English is essential.
