We are a West End (W2) UK property Management company with a portfolio of predominantly residential properties. We are looking for a flexible, confident, self-motivated, trustworthy, responsible individual who can use their own initiative and work independently.
A successful candidate will be supporting lettings, maintenance and accounts within the company.
The individual must be able to work to deadlines and be resourceful and able to resolve issues that arise.
You will be solving both technical and practical situations that arise from the managed properties and will liaise with landlords, tenants and contractors in respect to our portfolio.
You will need to have the ability to negotiate and find solutions. Interpersonal and problem-solving capabilities are essential.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated with good common sense and strong communication skills.
Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to be highly organized and multi task is essential.
Previous property management experience and knowledge of CFP will be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
Maintaining and updating Landlord, Property, Contractor and Tenant details on CFP.
Reconciling rent payments and ability to run various reports on CFP.
Populate works orders to record and track all works through to completion.
Bookkeeping (payables, receivables, cashbook)
- Analytical accountancy,
- Bank reconciliation,
- Creditors/Debtors reports’ follow-up,
- Payment of suppliers in due date,
- Interface with the suppliers,
- Prepayments,
Essential skills:
- The ideal candidate should possess a university degree preferably in Accounting and Finance (or be in the process of acquiring their ACCA or similar).
- Property experience is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to manage time effectively and multi task.
- Able to work comfortably under pressure Flexible and calm approach.
- Good IT skills including Excel, Word and SAGE Line 50 and Sage Payroll.
- Excellent administration skills, communication skills, attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and negotiation skills.
- Natural and professional phone manner Fluent spoken/written English is a MUST.
- Good IT skills including Excel, Word and CFP.
- Fluent spoken/written English is a MUST.
