Rooms Outdoor is a leading design and build construction company based in North London. We specialise in pre fabricated, site assembled modular buildings typically used as garden rooms, school class rooms etc. The majority of our projects are residential and are based in London and the Home Counties although we do occasionally work further afield.
The Job
Dividing your time between site and our office, the chosen candidate would be expected to take immediate ownership and responsibility for the concurrent project management of all our projects from start to finish, liaising with clients, employees, suppliers, sub-contractors, architects, designers, planners and building control to ensure quality project delivery on time and within budget. You will also be required to develop and deliver longer term cost saving and efficiency programs.
Typical duties include:
-Programming schedules of works for all projects up to 6 months in advance.
- Site management and hands on management of workers (running construction teams on multiple sites, recruiting workers and sub-contractors)
- Sourcing suppliers and materials
- Ensuring projects completion on time and to budget
- Overseeing and ensuring compliance across the company, including building regulations, health and safety, certificates, insurance, risk mitigation through contracts.
- Liaising with architects for designs and plans and project managing all planning stages through completion
-Dealing with clients and head office
-Communicating with workforce
-Arranging site access
-Preparing job packs
Your Minimum Requirements
2-3 years minimum experience in residential construction project management
Excellent organisation, communication and management skills
Advanced CAD experience is essential
Computer literate – Word, Excel etc.
Full driving license
Remuneration
Salary negotiable depending on your skills and experience.
Holidays:20 days plus 8 public holidays
