We have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager to join the team of a main contractor working on high end residential refurbishment projects ranging from £1M to £20M.
This company work on a variety of different residential and commercial projects across London but mainly work within Chelsea, Kensington, Knightsbridge, Mayfair, Notting hill etc.
The successful candidate will take control of a new flagship contract, £20M commercial refurbishment and extension. This site will include extensive structural work, new build and refurbishment and complete internal fit out.
Responsibilities:
• Site based Project Manager, initially overseeing the above project
• Managing build programme and quality
• Scheduling materials and managing materials on site
• Carry out Risk Assessments /Method Statements (Rams) build quality
• Recruiting specialists and sub-contractors
• Monitoring sub-contractors to ensure guidelines, contacts, H and S and quality are maintained.
• Monthly forecasting, contract reviews, applications and invoicing throughout the projects.
Applicants should have the following:
• experience running similar sized contacts
• Strong structural knowledge and experience working closely with engineers
• SMSTS
• A good all round construction knowledge
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
