Borough Junction is an Urban Development company. We make places through the regeneration of London’s intricate urban fabric. We create viable developments by taking advantage of under-utilized sites and applying our design based approach.
We find sites, negotiate their purchase, raise equity and debt funding, employ and manage design teams and delivery agents.
Our company is based in the West End (W1) and is located only 5min by walk to Goodge Street station and Great Portland Street station, and 10min by walk to Oxford circus station.
We are seeking a self-motivated ambitious individual with entrepreneurial spirit and with an interest in the real estate sector- development, construction and design.
Responsibilities to include:
• All the reporting is directly to Principle.
• Arrange and coordinate project team meetings and ensure relevant project documents are updated. Producing meeting agendas and minutes.
• Manage and maintain the project plan; monitor progress, coordinating team activities and resources to meet our time and budget deadlines.
• Provide administrative support to the programme.
• Customer Services, dealing with tenants queries.
• Procurement or Goods/ Services and Office Secretarial.
• Organisation of filing, IT and full assistance to Company Director’s.
• Back-office Management and Basic Accounting/ Receipts.
Essential skills for the role:
• Good communication skills in fluent written and spoken English to deal with workforce and third parties
• Good interpersonal skills to deal with clients queries
• Adaptable and flexible approach to getting things done
• An organised and methodical approach but confident to change priorities quickly when required and learn on-the-job with enthusiasm
• The ability to multi-task, and deliver against deadlines
• Previous experience in a administration role or facilities / maintenance management or other similar area would be an advantage although not essential.
• Good reporting skills and ability to collect and display information in a useful way
• Good time management skills
