With a heritage spanning 30 years we are proud to introduce our new venture launching into the Central London food scene. ** Think Wasabi / Itsu for Persian food **

Our office is based in Stonebridge where we also have a new 3,000 sqft production kitchen. We are looking for a suitable candidate to manage this facility. Responsibilities will include the following:

- Knowing all recipes and making sure all food is prepared to a high standard.
- Correct quantity of food is produced.
- Making sure that all recipes and production processes are applied by the team.
- Ordering, stock management and minimising wastage. An effective inventory system needs to be implemented.
- Working to COGS targets while securing high quality ingredients.
- Liaise with management and suppliers on any issues with regards to quality/stock/deliveries.
- Food safety and hygiene. HACCAP monitoring. Adhering to requirements. Maintaining daily reports.
- Training of staff.
- Rota management and labour costs.
- Ensuring smooth and timely delivery of food from kitchen to restaurants.
- Creating specific work stations in the kitchen.
- Maintaining the kitchen equipment.
- Keeping the kitchen clean at all times.
- Morale of the kitchen and general day to day issues.

Requirements include the following:

- Proven experience (2 + years) in kitchen management.
- Cooking abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and management skills.
- Solid leadership qualities, enthusiastic and able to motivate a team to achieve excellent quality standards.
