Opportunity for a Fashion graduate looking to increase their knowledge and understanding of garment manufacturing and production processes. The applicant must have good garment construction understanding, able to read patterns and sew basic garments and be able to pay attention to detail and have good excel skills and mental maths.
Tasks will include:
This role will include a variety of tasks supporting the production and product development team. It is a varied job so no day will be the same and the applicant must be adaptable. Some of the work is physical including packing materials for production and garments and lifting boxes.
Task for which training will be provided will include:

Packing Production materials
Booking production in and orders out
Measuring and cataloguing fabrics and trims.
Creating labels for samples and keeping the sample area tidy.
Garment quality control
Plotting, and marking up patterns
Cutting garments and sewing toiles.
Booking couriers and preparing documentation for shipments.
Keeping production area tidy
Some admin and filing
Assisting with general tasks
Inputting information on production database.

This job will enable the candidate to experience first-hand how design and production work together to plan and produce a range.
experience: We are looking for a graduate with some industry experience in a technical or production role.

Hours: 9.30-6pm Monday to Thursday and 9.30-5.30 on Fridays, 30 minutes lunch.
