Excellent opportunity for motivated person to join our factory production team to learn the ropes and within 6 to 12 months be promoted to Supervisor. Lonsdale is a leading manufacturer of rooflights for both commercial and domestic application. Typical projects include The British Museum, Windsor Castle, Buckingham Palace and The National Gallery. You will be joining a well funded, professionally managed business working along side a small friendly team providing the necessary training.
What You Will Be Doing
On a day to day basis you will be cutting, drilling and assembling our aluminium rooflight systems at our factory in Tottenham Hale, London N17. From time to time other duties will include, unloading of lorries and packing of orders for shipment. Hours are 8am to 5pm Mon-Thursday and 8am to 4pm Fri with the customary lunch hour and tea breaks both in the morning and afternoon. You should be someone who takes pride in their work and have the ambition to take on extra responsibility and be promoted to Supervisor. We also operate a generous Annual Bonus scheme and monthly production bonus.
Essential
A minimum of two years experience of manufacturing and/or assembly
Fluent English
A practical 'hands on' approach
The desire to progress within the company and further your career
Reliable time keeping and attendance record
The ability to work accurately with emphasis upon quality
