Peabody has an exciting opportunity for a Product Support Specialist to join our team in Waterloo. The successful applicant will join us on a full time, permanent basis and will receive a salary of £35,000 per annum.
The Product Support Specialist role:
We are looking for an experienced Product Support Specialist with a background in works ordering business systems to act as subject matter expert during the initial development of the products to support the DLO. Following initial development, the successful candidate will continue to provide on-going support in system configuration and administration for this and other business systems.
Key repsonsibilities of our Product Support Specialist:
- Collaborate with stakeholders during the visioning and concept development of a product, utilising experience to provide insight to best practice and previous lessons learned.
- Appraise design options and support product decision maker, ensuring a swift and effective decision making process delivering outcomes in line with the wider project plans and desired outcomes.
- Work closely with suppliers and product owner to fully understand product capabilities and options available, ensure limitations are highlighted and the most appropriate options are selected.
- Help specify user story acceptance criteria, and be able to facilitate the translation of those criteria into acceptance tests.
- Support the development of Operational Acceptance Testing scripting and execute as required to ensure product readiness.
- Supporting with embedding change in the target departments. Work with key stakeholders across the company to ensure successful product releases.
Skills/experience required by the Product Support Specialist:
- Experienced repairs works ordering system user or administrator with a proven ability to work as part of a team and using own initiative to deliver excellent outcomes.
- A good understanding of repairs works ordering processes and data, including diagnostics, job build, schedule of rates, parts management and customer journey interaction.
- Excellent communication skills; proven record of preparing written and verbal reports and presentations with the ability to effectively work closely alongside front line teams, back office and senior management.
- Excellent planning and prioritising skills.
- Proven experience in working to configure or develop systems from business requirements and user stories.
- experience in business as usual change management processes.
- experience in preparing training materials and delivering training.
- The ability to manage in ambiguous situations or when answers are not always clear, taking the opportunity to seek out solutions, answers and guide others in times of uncertainty.
- experience of working within various project frameworks including Agile/Scrum, PRINCE2/Waterfall.
- Ability to work independently, exercising good initiative and judgement.
- Proven experience and ability to deliver excellent customer care and valuing diversity.
- Proven attention to detail and ability to work on a variety of tasks simultaneously.
