Peabody has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Officer to join our team in London. The successful applicant will join us on a full time permanent basis and will receive a competitive salary of £26,000 - £30,000 per annum.

As the Procurement Officer, you will provide excellent front line customer service by working in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to ensure our customers’ needs are met and the departmental/team objectives are achieved. To support the Procurement Manager(s) in the delivery of the Procurement and Category Strategies and the agreed work programme.
Essential Skills, Knowledge and experience required by our ideal Procurement Officer
- Good interpersonal skills, able to influence at various levels throughout the organisation
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, Word and Power Point
- Good Excel focused analytical skills
- Able to grasp new tasks quickly with minimal supervision
- A desire to forge a career in Procurement
- Confident, effective and efficient
- Flexible and adaptable
- A desire to succeed
- A team player
Desirable
- An awareness of category management, procurement processes and systems, EU Directives and public contracts regulations.
Qualifications required by our ideal Procurement Officer
- Educated to A Level or equivalent vocational qualification
