Peabody has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Officer to join the team in London. The successful applicant will join us on a full time, permanent basis and will receive a salary of £26,382 - £31,040 per annum.
Peabody and Family Mosaic have merged, creating a new housing association providing 55,000 homes to 111,000 people across London and the South East. Our combined scale and strong focus on London will uniquely position us to revolutionise housing delivery and redefine best practice – and you will be central to making it happen.
We are currently recruiting for two Procurement Officers to provide procurement process support to Procurement Business Partners, and excellent front line customer service by working in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
Essential skills and experience required by the Procurement Officer.
- Practical experience of extracting spends data from financial systems. Ability to present information in various ways.
- Practical experience of working with the UK Public Contracts Regulations.
- Good stakeholder management skills, including influencing skills and ability to develop business networks and work collaboratively.
- Good verbal and written communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Good presentation skills, good IT skills including MS Office applications and specialist systems.
- Team player
Desirable skills and experience required by the Procurement Officer.
- experience of contract management
- Sector specific experience
Qualifications required by the Procurement Officer.
- Educated to A Level or equivalent
