More about the position:
- Lessons are typically 1-2 hours long.
- Lessons take place in students' homes, so you should be comfortable travelling to them.
- Students vary from primary to adult learners, with many seeking help for specific examinations, such as GCSEs or A-Levels, Saturday and Entrance exams.
Requirements:
- You must have strong subject knowledge, a personable nature and have a degree (1st or 2:1) in the subject you teach
- Formal teaching qualification is desirable but not necessary
- At least one-year tutoring experience is required unless you have an exceptional academic qualification from a top university.
- Having a DBS is preferred but not necessary. Applicants shouldn't have any previous convictions or cautions.
You set your own rate depending on experience and qualifications and we will help you receive students and optimise your rate.
The typical hourly rate you can expect to receive is £15 - £40/hour.
