A busy young household based in Kensington, West London with 2 energetic boys under 9 years old is looking for a Private Family Driver/Manny/Household Assistant to compliment their existing household team.
The basic working hours will be Monday to Friday 7.30 am until 6pm. In addition there will be a maximum per month of:

Monday to Friday - 10 short evenings per month (until 8pm) - 5 long evenings per month (until 11pm)
Saturday and Sunday - 5 short trips per month (up to 4 hours) - 2 evenings per month (until 11pm)

Duties involve:

Driving the two children daily to and from different schools.
Occasionally drive the Mother to appointments.
Run errands such as picking up dry cleaning, sourcing and purchasing household items.
Do some DIY around the house
Oversee outside contractors working at the house.
Getting the boys’ school bags ready
Accompanying the boys to school and after school activities.
Engage in sporting activities and talk with the boys.
Generally acting as a positive role model for the boys.

The family have 2 Mercedes cars, both of which the Family Driver/Manny/Household Assistant would be required to keep clean and maintain. The will have use of the larger Mercedes for work.
Applicants must have previous long term experience driving and working in a private household or sports teaching environment with young children.
This position would suit applicants who have their own children and understand the lifestyle of a busy London household with young children; would enjoy immerse themselves into the boys day to day life but also understand the need for discipline and good manners.
Applicants should live within easy commuting distance to W8, have a recent Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks (previously Criminal Records Bureau check) plus a clean driving licence and good route knowledge of London. They must also be fluent in both written and verbal English so you can help with homework if necessary and able to work within a friendly team.
You must have 3 years experience working for one private family with young children which you have personally driven and verifiable written references from your employers in this capacity.
The salary offered is up to £30,000 gross per year, depending on level of relevant experience, and 6-7 weeks paid holiday a year as the family often travel during the school holidays. Any additional hours worked will be paid at a rate of £10 per hour extra.
This position is to start 1st september 2022.
