We are seeking an experienced full time Cook to work for a lovely family in Central London.
You will be responsible for planning menus and the provision of all meals for the family. In addition you will be responsible for preparing lunch for a small team of staff, the purchasing of all food, and ensuring that the kitchen and equipment are maintained to a very high standard.
You will possess a catering qualification, and ideally, cooking experience gained from working within a private household. You will feel confident cooking for varied occasions and possess the ability to work independently and also effectively and flexibly a part of a small team. With proven planning and organisational skills you will also have experience of managing budgets. With an enthusiastic and hands-on attitude to work, you will be committed to providing the highest standards of service, hygiene and cleanliness.
Hours: Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work. Hours will be determined according to requirements but will include a split shift.
The salary on offer will be £25,000 gross per year.
