We are currently looking for a full time Live in private chef/housekeeper in North London (N20).
A two bedrooms modern luxury flat will be provided as a free live in accommodation. It is responsibility of the successful candidate to keep the flat tidy and clean, carrying out food shopping as well as preparing lunch and dinner daily.
The meals will be prepared for one/two persons; the employer is a busy mid-aged entrepreneur and he occasional hosts parties up to 4 guests.
The food prepared is expected to be fresh, seasonal and healthy. Cosines preferences are: Italian, French, Japanese or Chinese.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative chef who is enjoying preparing comfort food with a good repertoire of International dishes.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience working as chef or nutritionist with a work history that shows loyalty and reliability towards his employer. Although you will be working in a homely environment, professional manner is required at all times.
Working hours are 5 to 6 days a week and depend on the employer's busy business activities; flexibility is required with daily Rota occasionally changing at the very last minute.
Salary offered (depending on the experience and length of service) will be discussed between the 2 parties.
Level 2 Food Safety and Level 1 Health and Safety is preferred although online training will be provided.
There will be potential for salary increase based on successful pass of 3 month’s probationary period as well as based on overall performance.
Interviews will include a cooking trial.
In accordance with the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996, candidates must prove their entitlement to work in the UK.
The employer may wish to undertake a basic Scotland check under Data and Barring Service.
