We're currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced prep chef to join our small but growing team and take ownership of the day to day running of the kitchen of our Broadway Market cafe. We serve a short menu of healthy Asian-inspired brunch and lunch dishes, mainly take away over a busy lunch period.
We're looking for someone who's passionate about great food, has an eye for detail and a can-do attitude. We're a small team so you'll need to be prepared to get involved.
You should be confident with hygiene procedures and keen to get involved in all the elements of making the kitchen work. You'll need to be fast and efficient, with the ability to manage your time well and prioritise what needs to be done. Alongside our core menu we're always developing our product so there's an opportunity to help shape new items.
As well as prep in the mornings, you'll be customer facing during some lunch services to help the FOH team assemble dishes.
The role will be 4 or 5 daytime shifts per week, including a day at the weekend. £9/hour.
