Rhythms of Life is a registered charity that provides food, clothing, and support to the homeless across London 7 days a week since opening.
The role:
We are currently looking for PR/Social Media staff to build and maintain our profile within our local community and social media.
The candidate must be enthusiastic, highly organized with excellent communication skills and a passion for social justice and innovation.
The ideal candidate should be passionate about improving the lives of homeless and other vulnerable people.
We are based in the heart of Central London, Covent Garden.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Media relations: fielding media inquiries and proactively pursuing new opportunities in the national and regional press.
- Content marketing maintains and updates the charity’s website.
- Manage the organization’s social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
- Develop strategies to grow our online presence.
- Working relationships: work with existing and new partners to encourage sponsorship, donations, and volunteers.
- Monitoring: monitor the media daily to keep up-to-date with homelessness issues
We are looking for someone who is resourceful, organised and able to show initiative. You must be enthusiastic, team orientated and passionate about improving the lives of homeless people and those who are poverty stricken.

We are currently looking for someone who will be available for 2-3 days a week from 10 - 4pm
