Poster Gallery Assistant Job

Pullman Editions is a specialist poster gallery producing Art Deco inspired limited-edition prints. We are currently looking for an assistant to run the gallery between 10am - 6pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10am - 2pm on Fridays, as well as providing holiday cover as and when needed. Please only apply if you are available for all of these times.
This varied role will involve:
Single-handedly running the gallery, greeting and serving customers, answering the phone
Building knowledge of our products and answering customer enquiries
Producing VAT invoices and other admin duties including database management
Keeping the gallery clean and tidy
Core hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays 10am – 6pm. Fridays 10am - 2pm. Additional days as and when required.
This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated, highly organized, and friendly individual to gain experience within an independent specialist interiors company in the heart of Chelsea. We are a small, professional and friendly gallery with a predominantly retail clientele.
Candidates must have perfect spoken and written English, previous customer service and admin experience, excellent attention to detail, a smart appearance, and be polite and enthusiastic. This opportunity would suit a mature student or a self-employed/freelance individual who is looking for some additional revenue and has a genuine interest in art and design.
