We are looking for someone with some experience and some understanding of flowers (not essential) and plant care who is comfortable assisting our floristry team on the shop floor. Your duties will include but will not be limited to the following:

Attending client premises to ensure that plants and window boxes supplied and maintained on a contract basis by Orchidya are always watered correctly and manicured so that they always look their best.
Lifting heavy materials such as bags of compost, window boxes, and deliveries in general throughout the shop and also to and from client locations and events when required. We have a kangaroo bike available too which we hope you will adopt.
Help to keep the shop and office clean, tidy and organised at all times.
Complete local deliveries to clients and customers.
Assist with the conditioning of flowers
During quiet times, training in floristry will be provided.

This position is flexible but requires 5 days per week.
