We have a vacancy for a Part-time Playworker.
Hours: From 2.00-6.00pm (Term time); 7:30am to 6:00pm (Half Term)
We are looking for an applicant who has a relevant childcare Level 2 or Level 3 qualification or working towards a childcare related qualification, and some experience of working with 4 –11 + year Olds.
The role is varied and involves school collection, planning, preparing and delivering quality play opportunities within a safe and caring environment; help in providing afternoon meals, refreshments and ensuring that hygiene, health and safety standards are met.
The role also involves assisting with club administration – completion of necessary forms, where necessary and undertaking appropriate and relevant in house training.

- Who is an excellent team player, good communication and has the ability to use own initiative
- Be very focused and vigilant with an ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently.
- Be punctual and reliable, with a good attendance record
- Be able to work under pressure and have an ability to multi-task.
Successful applicants will join us in providing high-quality, safe and stimulating after school care for the children attending MLH Club based in Addiscombe, Croydon and/or our other setting at St. John's School, Shirley.
