Playground Builders Wanted !
To join a pool of freelance workers to undertake short- term contracts building outstanding and award winning play spaces.
We are looking for energetic, hardworking Carpenters , Joiners , Ground workers and landscapers to join our dedicated, friendly playground building team.
Are you registered as freelance and available to work on playground design and builds during July, August and September 2022 in West London ?
The most vital attributes are to have a passion for creating exciting quality outdoor environments and to work well in a multi skilled team. experience is essential, as is a brilliant attitude ,good team working skills and the belief in children’s right to play.
Must be registered self-employed. CSCS card and DBS check an advantage but not essential out of school term time.
Tasks may include the following -
Groundwork-
Competency with use of hand plant. (Jackhammer/concrete cutter etc.) Handling hardwood and planed wood, lifting and shifting loose materials, mixing cement by hand or machine and rendering, raising upright poles and banks man duties supporting digger operator.
Carpentry
Framing, cladding, decking and roofing using 110v and cordless power and hand tools. Bolting poles, assisting with rigging swings. Green wood work and chainsaw skills and advantage
Landscaping
Building Sleeper retaining walls, planting, mulching and pruning. Exterior painting and tiling.
Rates: Subject to qualifications, references and experience.
