Play Planner Job SW London Start as soon as possible.
Luxury private members club, providing effortless family time, is looking for a play planner to manage the development of play ideas and ensure that play buddies are trained to the correct standards.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
• Manage all of the planning for the activities within the venues based on the weekly theme, including:
A. 4 arts and crafts activities
B. 4 music activities
C. 4 high energy activities
D. 8 recipes
• Plan an activity for following classes:
Simple sensory- 18 months and under
Taste, touch, smell, sound
ABC 123- 18 months up to 4 years
Learning one letter and one number each week.
Junk modelling- all ages
Making items from recycled materials each week.
Da Vinci’s workshop - 6 years plus
Learning about an artist then imitating their art/ making a piece in a similar style.
• Conduct basic training with the Play teams in how to run the activities on a weekly basis.
• Stay up to date with current child trends/interest and utilise them when planning activities.
• Manage the themes for the year and develop activities accordingly.
Qualifications or Skills Required:
• Previous experience
• Previous teaching experience.
• experience of working in a children’s environment.
• Interest in painting/playing/music/cooking.
• Good eye for detail
• Excellent written and spoken English
Personal attributes:
• Fun and Outgoing
• A great communicator with both children and adults.
• Organized, calm and professional
• Be creative and able to think outside the box.
