Plant Maintenance Technician - London Interior and Exterior Landscaping Company
Plantforce is an established, busy and successful landscaping company based in Canary Wharf for more than 30 years. We work with corporate clients within the Greater London area.
We are currently seeking experienced gardeners/technicians to join both our exterior and interior teams. Previous experience and/or knowledge and skills would be beneficial although a willingness to learn, work in a team, be enthusiastic and wish to progress is essential. A full UK driving license and experience of driving in London would be an advantage.
• Exterior Technician – generally works in a team looking after mainly seasonal planters and containers including roof gardens, window boxes, small gardens, courtyards and squares. Must be able to lift heavy items.
• Interior Technician – generally works independently with designated clients once trained, although some team work is also involved on bigger contracts. Maintenance is of tropical plant displays including flowering plants in offices, atriums, receptions and living walls.
We are offering full time positions although would consider part time/flexible and seasonal applications. The successful candidate should have good spoken and written English, have a smart appearance, be punctual and most importantly be willing to learn and work in a team. An interest in horticulture/gardening/plants is essential.
Full time is 40 hours a week Monday to Friday. Part time work is 8 hours a day for 2-4 days per week Monday to Friday. Salary is dependent on age and experience. Full on the job in-house training is available as are apprenticeships in association with Capel Manor Horticultural College.
