The Fields Beneath is a coffee shop and local favourite in Kentish Town, serving up local residents, workers and parents every day.
We roast and serve excellent espresso and filter coffees, make most our products from scratch (hot choc, golden milk, Chai) and serve them alongside some of the best lunches in town.
We recently went 100% plant based and have brought our entire customer base along for the ride. Our sales have grown as a result.
We’re looking for a full-time barista who can join straight in with the hustle of our morning service, maintaining the highest standards and continual checks and measures we employ whist making espresso. They must also be flexible with roles, managing all aspects of the counter, service and some basic food prep when required.
Training will be given to align you with our ways, however at least one year’s experience in speciality coffee is essential. You’ll be expected to be competent in dialling in new coffees, latte art and cleaning the coffee equipment.
