Food to Go Team Leader
37.5 hours a week including weekends
upto £8.80 per hour
We are looking for a Superstar Team Leader to join our team at Planet Organic store in Wandsworth. Previous food experience in a chef or contract catering role would be advantageous. This role is focused on our Food to Go Counter.
Planet Organic was established in 1995 and we currently have 7 stores in London with 200 employees and a new store is due to open in the Autumn. We sell only the freshest, healthiest and most delicious organic/natural food that customers can find, as well as the finest organic skincare, books, juices and take away food.

The main objectives of a Food to Go Team Leader role are to:
1. Know and demonstrate by example Planet Organic’s customer service standards
2. Lead and coach the team in their ability to effectively deliver to Company standards
3. Ensure the dept. Ordering is completed; monitor and minimise wastage
4. Encourage and motivate the team to maximize sales
5. Ensure that high standards (Food safety/ Health and Hygiene) are maintained in the department at all times
6. Manage the team (10-14 staff) to ensure the smooth running of the department
7. Organise rotas efficiently for the department using appropriate IT systems
8. Ensure the team operates equipment correctly and safely
9. Ensure that all HACCP and Health and Safety procedures are adhered to and properly recorded
