We are seeking a Picture Framer with at least two years experience. You should be knowledgeable in all aspects of framing and work to a very high standard. If you've honed some hand finishing and painting skills that would be a great advantage. Some customer facing experience would be useful. You must be confident using all the basic framing equipment. We are a very busy team working for artists, galleries and members of the public. This is a great opportunity to work in a small company and see how everything hangs together. But be warned. It's quite physically demanding. Some of the frames we make are very large. Though we'll help you share the load, don't apply if you're not prepared for some hard work! Driving licence good to have but not essential.

Main duties
Serving and advising customers on all aspects of framing. Job administration, materials ordering. Frame construction, mount cutting, cutting and handling all types of glass, frame assembly and fitting up. Sanding, painting and staining frames. Occasional deliveries.
Skills and experience
You'll need to be switched on for this role. We'll want you to work quickly and accurately. You must enjoy working with your hands and thinking creatively, not just about the frames you make but how you approach the work process. We are always looking for new and interesting ways to approach projects.You must have a good attention to detail and be really flexible.
