About our Vitality Physiologist role
As a Vitality Physiologist within the Vitality Healthy Workplace Team you will be expected to complete onsite medical examinations for the vitality members (employees) of Vitality group business clients in a range of geographical locations. These examinations will include Blood Pressure, BMI and Blood Glucose and Cholesterol, in addition to further examinations to be set by the Vitality Healthy Workplace team.

Working a 37.5 hour week you will be required to work from Monday to Friday from roughly 09:00 to 17:00. Each appointment will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Your role will include liaising with clients, Vitality members and our operational team as well as promoting health and wellbeing in a professional manner.
A day in the life of a Vitality Physiologist;
- Set off in your company car to the clients office ready to start your day for 8.30am.
- Set up our Vitality mobile clinic within a specially allocated room.
- Meet and greet each member who attends a Vitality Health check.
- Complete clinical tests for Blood Pressure, BMI, Glucose, Cholesterol and obtain a non-smoking declaration.
- Talk through with our members their results for each area tested.
- Towards the end of the session we complete a health and well being consultation with each of our members, to inspire and motivate them with our fantastic opportunities to look after their bodies better.
- In an average day we will complete up to 30 Vitality Health checks.
- Once we have finished we will send all the data electronically to our members to help them on their journey to become healthier and enhance their lives.
To become our Physiologist, you will have the below skills and experience:
- You must have completed third level human science education in an area such as sports science or human physiology.
- experience completing medical examinations.
- Applicants are required to have extensive professional experience.
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communicator and with great people / customer service skills.
- You must be computer literate and able to work independently with drive, enthusiasm, initiative and commitment.
