Pharmacy Healthcare Assistant and Technician/ Dispenser Wanted in Worcester Park, Surrey
An opportunity has arisen in a small friendly, independent community pharmacy for an experienced full time Pharmacy Technician/Dispenser to join our team in Worcester Park, Surrey.
We require motivated, confident and friendly individuals who can demonstrate an approachable, professional and caring manner towards our customers who is keen on developing and delivering new services.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
experience of working in a pharmacy.
Fluent spoken and written English including good numeracy skills
Excellent telephone manner and organisational skills IT skills Retail experience (current)
Able to work up to 35 hours per week, including Saturdays on a Rota basis if needed
Full UK work permit
Cash handling/till work experience
Clean CRB check (or able to pass one when required) References (on request)

PREFERABLE SKILLS
Retail Pharmacy experience (UK) Pharmacy training NVQ level 1
Dispensary assistants training NVQ level 2
MAIN DUTIES OF THE APPLICANT
• processing and dispensing prescription medication,
• receiving and storing stock,
• keeping computerised records up to date,
• maintaining a clean working environment,
• filing prescriptions
• communication with other Healthcare professionals, such as surgeries, care homes, and service users or their carers regarding medication requirements.
• general dispensary duties, sale of over-the-counter medicines, customer service and supporting pharmacy services.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST:
• be organised with a methodical approach
• be able to work accurately and quickly whilst maintaining a clean and tidy working environment
• have strong customer service skills and a professional telephone manner
• have a flexible approach
• Team work and communication skills are essential
• A good knowledge of IT is required with attention to detail and accuracy.

THE JOB
Retail pharmacy Mon-Fri 9am-7pm and one Saturday in three 9am-5.30pm
Holiday entitlement
Term: Permanent Full training and support will be given to the successful candidate.
