Our client, located in the London Borough of Waltham Forest is looking to recruit personal care assistants to join their existing team. The successful candidate will play an integral part in supporting our client to live a fulfilling life and achieve independent living both during the day and some nights.
The successful candidate will provide support to a gentleman living in a family home with all their daily living activities. These includes but are not limited to tasks such as help with getting dressed, eating, medical needs, driving, personal care, manual handling, accessing and engaging in the community. Someone who is tidy and discreet.
Essential requirements:
• Male (expect under the Equalities Act 2010)
• Have the right to work in the UK
• Over 21 and hold a clean UK driving licence for at least 24 months (confident driving in London)
• Feel comfortable and confident to work in someone else’s home
• Willing to work on Rota, weekends, unsociable hours and on public holidays
• Undertake enhanced DBS check (funded by the client)
• Engage in training and personal development
• Willing to work a minimum of 15 hours spread over the week
• Due to the nature of the job it would ideally suit someone who lives within the E17 and E4 postcodes.
Hourly rate: £10 p/h
Double pay: public holidays
Terms and conditions: 5.6 weeks (pro-rata) holiday and statutory entitlements
