We seek to find a personal care assistant to support a retired disabled lady to live independently in her home. Duties will include personal, domestic and social care.
Previous experience in social care would be an advantage but not necessary as guidance and training will be provided.
The post holder will work in a non-smoking and pet free environment.
The successful applicant must be able to work as part of a team, undertake a full criminal records bureau check (DBS), flexible, prepared to work shifts, weekends and public holidays, and sleep-ins (where appropriate). Working hours will be a minimum of 7 hours per week.
The current rate of pay is £11.50 per hour (paid 4-weekly) and double rate of pay on Bank Holidays worked. Annual leave entitlement is 5.6 weeks (pro rata) paid holiday for each full year worked.
