Personal assistant required for an adult with cerebral palsy living in Clerkenwell. He requires assistance with all aspects of personal care, including using the toilet, cooking, feeding and tidying. He is also a keen writer and publishes many articles; all of his work is dictated. Good English is, therefore, essential.
He appreciates training everyone from scratch himself so prior experience is not necessary.
Reliability and open-mindedness are important.
£9.75 per hour. Approximately two09:00-18:00 shifts available a week. Days are varied and are agreed roughly a week in advance.
Primarily based at his home, but his busy lifestyle means he will often be out and about.
Very light manual handling required.
