Peabody has an exciting opportunity for a Personal Advisor to join our team in London. The successful applicant will join us on a full time, fixed term basis and will receive a salary of £26,500 - £28,000 per annum.
Peabody and Family Mosaic have merged, creating a new housing association providing 55,000 homes to 111,000 people across London and the South East. Our combined scale and strong focus on London will uniquely position us to revolutionise housing delivery and redefine best practice – and you will be central to making it happen.
Peabody is recruiting for professionals who have experience of managing a caseload and progressing young people into volunteering and careers. We are looking for energetic self-starters who are passionate about supporting young people into sustained outcomes, are results driven, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Personal Advisor candidates should have a solution-focused approach to their work and be adept at enabling young people to raise their aspirations, and then identify and reach their potential. They should also be able to work with cross-sector partners to cultivate and maintain a range of opportunities including volunteering, training and employment.
This high-profile Personal Advisor role will cover the Hackney and Islington region, working with a range of established and respected organisations from the private and public sectors, that will enable the young, untapped talent in our city to think bigger and go further.
This Personal Advisor post will be subject to an enhanced disclosure check by the Disclosure and Barring Services (DBS) before any appointment can be confirmed.
Please note this is an 18-month fixed term contract.
You will work exclusively on the 2Work programme which is a pan London employment initiative part funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and managed by the Greater London Authority (GLA). The 2Work programme provides access to employment and training opportunities, including apprenticeships. This role is ESF funded.
