We’re looking for a “ Vintage Routemaster PCV Driver Officer” to join our leading Brentford-based team. This role is specifically for a Saturday driver to join our regular team - you will be expected to be available every Saturday, although there may be an option for additional hours in the week as required. There may also be an option to join our full-time crew as the company grows.
The ideal candidate will not just be driving our stunning Routemaster buses through London’s streets – they’ll also be expected to deliver an unforgettable experience to all passenger, from keeping the bus in pristine condition to working with your on-board conductor to create long-lasting memories.
All of our Routemaster passengers desire the vintage experience, so it’s essential that you play the part, act cheery and put a smile on the face of every passenger that you come across.

The Ideal Candidate will:
Be licensed to drive (Full PCV) our vintage Routemaster buses
Be willing to work irregular and unsociable hours, on demand
Ensure that a professional image of the company is demonstrated at all times
Use the tools provided to complete pre-job planning before and on the day.
Good working knowledge of central London and the areas around the M25
Be able to deliver an incredible customer experience
Adhere to compliance requirements in all areas of operational activity, company policies and procedures
Maintain standards on board; removal of rubbish where possible, tidy and maintain general cleanliness
Have willing hand for basic vehicle maintenance, such as changing a bulb or checking/Topping up oil
Be a team player in a very hands-on business
Drive other types of vehicles, including our open-tops, modern single and double Decker buses for rail and contract work.
Job Details
From early morning to late evenings, we run seven days per week to service our clients needs.
You will be based at our Brentford, West London garage.
