CCA International has an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to join their team in Canary Wharf, London. You will work on a full time permanent basis, and be offered a competitive salary of £26,000-£30,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities of our Payroll Administrator:
- Manage the end to end process across our 4 payrolls, in line with our published timetable.
- Act as main point of contact for payroll queries ranging from requests for payslip copies to questions on tax codes and more detailed explanations on complex payroll items.
- Importing data from our Human Resources system, uploading data on bonuses and commissions.
- It will be your responsibility to identify and query anomalies with line managers to investigate and fix errors.
- Process new starters and leavers including providing redundancy calculations where required.
- Deliver payroll journals and data to accounts team for month end reporting.
- Responsible for timely submission of all required information to HMRC.
- Manage contributions to our various pension plans.
- Process payroll deductions, earning attachments etc.
- Manage salary sacrifice schemes
- As time allows assist the finance and Human Resources teams with other related tasks.
Key competencies of our Payroll Administrator:
- Stickler for detail with a natural ability to see when things do not look right and a passion for getting things right first time.
- Ability to keep calm and ensure staff always have a positive interaction with the payroll function.
- Good understanding of all types of pay, including ability to perform manual calculations on SMP, SPP and SSP payments.
- Excellent Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
- Good knowledge of UK payroll legislation, HMRC rules and guidelines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and good understanding of GDPR requirements.
- experience with Sage
