Currently we are looking for part-qualified/qualified to join our team as a payroll administrator/bookkeeper.
Payroll Administrator/Bookkeeper
Main Responsibilities:
1. Bookkeeping to trial balance/VAT preparation.
2. Payslips print out, and send to client address.
3. FPS, EPS submission, earlier year update.
4. Process payroll accurately and timely as per timesheet/ instruction received from client.
5. Year End submission and print out P60 and issue p45
6. Ensuring that all Paye coding are correct manner.
7. Comply with HMRC guide line statutory payment SSP, SMP, SSP.
8. Companies House admin
9. Direct communication with HMRC
10. Ensure client deadlines are always met.
11. Filling RTI and responds client payroll inquiries timely.
12. Employees auto enrolment assessment carried out according to pension regulator.
13. Ensure confidentiality and high level of professionalism while dealing with employee sensitive and personal information.
14. Other ad hoc duties
Skills and qualification
- Good Excel skills are essential
- Up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation.
- Previous experience with similar role will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Iris or sage payroll software would be an added advantage.
- Ability to handle tight schedules during month ends.
