Chin Chin is looking for talented pastry chefs and cooks to join the family
If this sounds like you- you'll need to be confident at making lots of sweet things especially cakes, ice cream and inventive desserts. Full-time or Part-time available
You will be working in a family environment that nutures you to think differently and get experimental, pays well and you'll be working a nice big new kitchen in Soho. Chin Chin is a place where you can make your mark and get your creations on the menu but whilst we are getting bigger we always maintain a small business and indie ethos, that means we will value you!
THE ROLE:
*As well as making lots of ice cream bases, handmade sauces/toppings and cakes the Job involves making fresh ice cream with liquid nitrogen in industrial mixers ( no prior experience is needed for this and training will be given)
*You need to be physically fit and able to carry heavy bags of sugar and chocolate
* Hours are flexible but a typical day is around 8-9 hours with an 8 am start and there will be weekend work
What we need from you is to have experience in a kitchen setting, be enthusiastic and excel under pressure. You should also be able to work well Independently and able to follow recipes.
To work with us you also need to have good English, be presentable and just generally be a stand-up person that's loyal to the cause~
