We are recruiting for a Pastry Chef to work with us at The Barbican, London and Europe’s largest combined multi-arts and conference venue.

What we are looking for:
·Assisting the Head Pastry Chef and his/her team
·At least 2 years’ working within a similar role
·Knowledge of food preparation, baking techniques and nutrition
·Certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making and or a relevant field
·Hard working and motivated
·Ability to work under pressure
·Ambitious
·Team Player
Job role expectations:
·To assist in the preparation and service of all pastry goods
·To adhere to health and safety food regulations
·To attend compulsory food safety and health and safety courses when required
·To prepare goods in a timely and efficient manner
·To monitor stocks for baking ingredients and ensure orders are within appropriate budget
·Ensures the storage of products are properly maintained
·To prepare food as assigned on a daily/weekly manner
