Ground Coffee Society are looking for a full time kitchen porter/kitchen assistant to work under our Head Chef at our cafe in Putney SW15. As Kitchen Assistant at Ground Coffee Society, you will benefit from :
- Pay of £8.00 - £8.50 per hour, including tips (depending on hours worked)
- 28 days holiday pro rata.
- Overtime paid for private events (if required)
- 30 + hours contract per week and straight shifts (No Splits)
- Nights off
- Auto-enrol pension scheme.
Ideally we are looking for someone who has some experience in a commercial kitchen but training will be provided. A good level of spoken English is required as we are an international team and clear communication is essential.
Your main duties will include operating our pot-wash machines, cleaning crockery and cutlery using and returning them to their rightful place. Cleaning food preparation areas and equipment as required, closing and cleaning the kitchen after service, and assisting the chefs in food preparation as directed by the head chef.
