Sparrow opened this year in March with an a seasonal changing menu in the heart of Lewisham's busy shopping district, within a stone’s throw of Lewisham train and DLR station.
We serve great Antipodean style coffee from our friends at Ozone, and wholesome, delicious, brunch-style food as well as dinner in the evenings.
We are looking for a part- time barista (available weekends to join our team) with experience working with speciality coffee and as geeky about coffee as we are! You must know how to dial-in, and be used to weighing out and timing shots.
We may also have evening shifts available if interested and some daytime shifts starting next year.
Customer service is vital for this role and we are looking for kind, Smiley people who are just as comfortable greeting guests and serving to tables as they are operating the coffee machine. We have a friendly and considerate team and are looking for someone who will fit in with this and enjoy themselves at work as much as we do.
