Full Time Junior Parts Assistant (Stores Person)
An opportunity has arisen for a Parts Assistant to join our busy Jaguar and Land Rover Parts Department. The ideal applicant will be enthusiastic, energetic and articulate with an ability to learn quickly and work with self-motivation as no two days will be the same.
Duties are many and varied within this role and will include: Overseeing deliveries; unpacking and locating parts; picking, packing and issuing parts; general administration; working with online sales and eBay; processing returns and delivering parts throughout North and Central London when required.
A full driving licence with less than 6 penalty points is required for this position. However please note that this role is NOT primarily a driving position.
In house training will be provided, therefore previous parts department experience is not necessarily required. However a general understanding of cars and their components is a distinct advantage.
A reasonable degree of lifting and carrying is required within this role. Applicants must be able to demonstrate an ability to safely lift and carry potentially heavy or bulky automotive components such as batteries, tyres and body panels.
Working hours are 8am-6pm weekdays plus every other Saturday or as required.
A package in the region of £16-19k is awaiting the right applicant and dependant on age and experience.
