Are you a recent graduate interested in digital marketing/social media and online journalism? Nevado Ltd is seeking an intern website content writer to support its Theatreland project at its office in south-west London.
Established in 2003, Theatreland offers the largest individual collection of websites providing complete, impartial guides to all the theatrical, musical and performance arts events and venues in the world's greatest theatre cities, from New York's Broadway to London's West End and from the showrooms of Las Vegas to Shakespeare's Globe Theatre.
Main duties and responsibilities:
• This role will involve day to day website content management and copywriting to ensure our websites are engaging and up-to-date
• You will need to write unique and compelling content to help market theatre and other events
• You will proactively look out for ways to improve the websites, grow audiences and deliver better service
You will update our social media pages with engaging posts, come up with ideas for content marketing and measure engagement
Requirements:
• Excellent writing skills
• Wholly computer and web literate
• Highly organised, have good attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively and manage your own time
• Work well with others and have a positive attitude with enthusiasm
• Possess a good email manner
• Ideally have an academic background
• Legally eligible to work in the United Kingdom indefinitely
experience with the following desirable but not essential:
• Digital marketing/social media or journalism degree
• Graphic design or web design (HTML, CSS, Java Script)
• Data analysis or programming
• Web-based content management systems
• Adobe PhotoShop or other image editing experience
