Ollybars make handmade vegan, gluten free, breakfast energy bars. We are currently looking to employ a bakery and packaging assistant for an initial 3 month training period with potential to go permanent.
The job starts off at 4 days a week from Monday to Thursday, 9am to 5pm, with extra shifts on Friday available as the work load increases. You must be able to work with the bakery team ensuring product quality and consistency at all times.
Trial shifts last 2-3 hours with an immediate start for the right candidate.
You'll need to:
Ensure a proactive approach to food manufacturing, packaging and kitchen work
Be willing to learn new techniques within a bakery environment
Operate machinery safely and carefully
Have an understanding of HACCP, cross contamination, food controls
Level 1 and 2 hygiene standards minimum
Have worked to high hygiene standards within a kitchen environment
Be willing to clean down and get your hands dirty
Have an eye for detail without compromise - non negotiable
Be open minded to taking instructions with an keen attitude
Have a positive team spirit and an open mind set
Have an excellent command of the English language
