Our company has phenomenal growth planned over the next few years and we are looking for a supportive PA to join our small team. Pyramids Construction specialises in high end residential refurbishments and provides all building services from concept and design through to the finishing touches of the build. Job Role –
We are looking for a highly driven, self-motivated and dynamic individual who has previous PA or office management experience. We need someone who is bright, resilient and confident in order to deliver a high standard of service to our clients and perform daily tasks efficiently. A background in the residential construction industry would be very desirable.
The successful candidate will be supporting the Director with the daily running of our business. You will be dealing with the intense pressure of organising building projects on time, on budget and to the highest possible standard. Pyramids endeavour to offer our clients a premium service with responsive and efficient communication throughout their building project. Our business requires all team members to have a ‘can do’ attitude to meet the specific demands of our clients.
The right candidate will be able to foresee potential problems before they arise and facilitate solutions in order to save time and money. A flexible attitude towards working hours will help in this role. You will need to support the boss when he is committed, demanding and driven to succeed. You must be able to take instruction and follow specific details accurately. As we are a growing company, there will be opportunity create your own unique role within the business depending on your skill set.
You will need to be highly proficient in all general office skills including IT skills (full experience of Microsoft Word and Excel on a Mac is essential) and other PA skills. You must be fluent in English and have excellent English written communication skills.
Duties/Responsibilities -
Diary management for Director
Prepare and collate material for meetings
Note taking at meetings and typing up quotations in Excel
Process expenses and invoices in Excel
Process payroll and CIS deductions
Process all VAT payments in Excel
Generate new business leads for Director
Liaise with clients, suppliers and sub-contractors
Source new sub-contractors and suppliers
Website management and social media development
Basic Qualifications
• Demonstrable previous experience as a Director Level PA
Skills and competencies:
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills and numerical skills
• An ability to multi task with limited supervision
• Must have attention to detail, and produce work with a high level of accuracy
Education and qualifications:
• Advanced/expert user in MS Office Suite of software for Mac.
