Peabody has an exciting opportunity for a PA to Director-Development and Sales to join the team in London. The successful applicant will join us on a full time, permanent basis and will receive a salary of £33,000 - £35,000 per annum.
Peabody and Family Mosaic have merged, creating a new housing association providing 55,000 homes to 111,000 people across London and the South East. Our combined scale and strong focus on London will uniquely position us to revolutionise housing delivery and redefine best practice – and you will be central to making it happen.
We are seeking an experienced PA to provide a comprehensive and efficient personal assistance and administrative support to two Directors and the wider Leadership team.
The PA to Director-Development and Sales will have a series of common responsibilities and all appointments operate on the basis these additional activities will apply to these posts.
Responsibilities of the PA to Director-Development and Sales include.
- To manage complex correspondence on behalf of two Directors and Leadership team, including ensuring that e-mails, post and telephone calls are dealt with in a timely and effective manner, cascading and escalating where required within the function.
- To co-ordinate and schedule meetings ensuring efficient and effective diary management and the preparation and dissemination of supporting materials. To ensure all aspects of meetings/conferences are organised, agendas developed and prompt action taken maintaining timely responses to deadlines at all times. To attend and minute meetings as required.
- To assist in the production of Board and Committee reports and proof-reading. To support the Executive Director with Committees for which they are the lead executive officer.
- To build effective partnership relationships with senior management, team members, customers, key stakeholders and the wider PA team.
- To create, manage and maintain office systems to ensure they are fit for purpose and relevant to specified department.
- To assist with budget management and take responsibility for monitoring of income and expenditure, processing and coding of invoices and expenses.
Skills and experience required by the PA to Director-Development and Sales.
- Extensive experience providing executive level PA and project support at a senior level.
- experience of providing PA and support at a senior level, minimum three years.
- Highly developed prioritisation, problem solving and organisation skills and to be able to demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
- Able to work efficiently and effectively while balancing multiple tasks.
- Ability to work independently, exercising good initiative and judgement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven time management and prioritisation skills.
- Proven experience and ability to deliver excellent customer care and valuing diversity.
- Proven attention to detail and ability to work on a variety of tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and targets.
- Methodical and pragmatic approach to working.
A standard dbs will be required for this position.
