Key responsibilities:
• Serving customers at the till
• Sorting and pricing donated items
• Filling the shop shelves and making the store as attractive and welcoming as possible
• Talking to customers about the Gift Aid scheme
Skills and competencies:
• No previous work experience necessary as we will take you through a one-to-one induction programme, but if you have already worked in retail or hospitality you'll be off to a great start
• You must be able to demonstrate a friendly nature and the ability to cooperate with other people
• You are making a commitment to your fellow volunteers and to Oxfam, so reliability and punctuality are essential
