We have a new and dynamic opportunity for you to join a health related membership organisation based in Central London with the chance to earn up to £38k.
Please be advised this role is a fixed-term contract for an initial period of 12 months, with the potential for the role to become permanent.
Specialising in membership acquisition, the overall purpose of this role is to recruit and engage new and existing members, including upgrading existing memberships. You will be part of a dynamic team working towards generating new business sales whilst developing leads and nurturing warm relationships. You will also identify opportunities to promote the benefits of membership. In addition the successful candidate will advise, recommend and assist members with choosing the correct membership package as well as selling the benefits of the upper packages.
To be considered for this role it is essential to have a previous track record relating to outbound telephone sales or telephone fundraising with the ability to build and develop knowledge of the sector. We require you to have experience of working in a targeted environment with the ability to negotiate and upsell. This role is ideally suited to someone looking to transfer previous telesales experience into the charity and not for profit sector, or someone who is keen to work in a new and fun environment. The hours will typically be set at Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm, but allowing for some slight flexibility regarding start and finish times.
