Job Description:
Our busy Breakfast, After School and Holiday Club is looking for an Out of School Manager who is enthusiastic and experienced in creating a fun and imaginative play environment for children.
The manager will lead a dedicated team of Playworkers, so inspirational leadership and great communication is essential, as well as being approachable and well organised.
This is a permanent, full-time post from Breakfast Club at 7.45am through to After School club finishing at 6pm during term time. The Manager will also run our very successful holiday playschemes during school holidays where we deliver a fantastic programme of fun and exciting activities and trips.
The successful candidate will:

Be committed and enthusiastic with a passion for childcare.

Engage with children between the ages of 3-11 years old.
Ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe, stimulating environment.

Plan, set up and lead a variety of engaging activities including sports and art and crafts.
Be reliable and punctual and work as part of a team.
Maintain excellent relationships with parents and the school.
Ensure the highly effective operation of the club as set out in our policies and procedures.

Qualifications and experience:
Ideally you will have the following qualifications, training and experience:
•           Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a childcare related subject (training available)
•           Ideally hold a Paediatric First Aid/Food Hygiene Certificate (training available)
•           Have experience of working with children.
•           Good knowledge of the EYFS

Hours and Salary

Full time 40 hours per week
£24K - £30k per annum depending on qualifications and experience.
Annual bonus, generous holiday entitlement, sick pay and pension.
