We are looking for an organized, friendly, enthusiastic and reliable live-in au-pair plus to join our family. Driving skills essential.
We have two daughters aged 11 and 8 who both attend school full time.
During school term time your hours would be up to 25 hours per week. These will be first thing in the morning and then after school so the job might suit someone who is studying during the day.
Your main role would be:
07.20 - 08.00: Helping to get the children ready for school and light household jobs. Occasionally you may be required to drop the children at school (you will be paid an additional amount for this).
3.00 / 4.00 - 7.00pm (approximately. Depending on after school activities): Collecting the children from school / after school activities, preparing supper, supervising homework, helping our youngest child to get ready for bed, helping both girls to get ready and organized for the next school day + end of the day tidy up. You may also need to carry out some light household duties (sorting children’s laundry etc).
Babysitting : we are also asking for up to 2 nights babysitting each week (including either a Friday or Saturday night).
We’re looking for someone who is organized but also kind-hearted, fun and enjoys the challenge of spending time with children of different ages.
We are offering competitive rates based on experience and qualifications. We will pay you more if you work extra hours i.e. If the children are sick, during the school holidays or over the occasional weekend (to be negotiated separately). You will have 4 weeks paid holiday a year (to coincide with our holidays).
Babysitting : we are asking for up to 2 nights babysitting each week (including either a Friday or Saturday night).
Duties will include sole charge and shared care of the children with some light housework, laundry etc. We have a separate cleaner who comes twice a week.
You would be comfortably accommodated in your own room with double bed and wi-fi access. Bathroom is shared with the children. We will cover your household bills and food.
We are looking for a non-smoker, someone with excellent reference and a full, clean UK Driving License, experience driving in London also necessary, first aid qualified preferred and DBS checked.
