Organisational Design ConsultantSSP Group is looking for an Organisational Design Consultant to join our Organisation Design team. This role which sits within Group Human Resources , is responsible for determining the right size and shape for the organisation. This role will play a central role in (primarily international) organisation design projects which are a critical to delivering efficiency and supporting the sustainable and profitable growth of the business.SSP Group Plc is a world-wide retail catering company with operations in 32 countries and employing over 30,000 people. In the UK, we operate well known branded restaurants, pubs, bars, cafés and convenience stores in airports and train stations.The Role Key to the role of Organisational Design Consultant is the ability to conduct research, gather insight and analyse data to diagnose issues and inform organisation design choices. You'll develop and evaluate organisation design solutions and identify risks and benefits to the business.You'll be involved in preparing organisation design documentation for stakeholder engagement and communication, then facilitating the design and execution of implementation plans for organisation design solutionsIn this role you'll develop, maintain and continuously improve organisation design frameworks and tools, as well as supporting the development of, and operate the governance process for organisation size and shape.The DetailsWe're ideally looking for an experienced Organisational Design Consultant who is working within an existing Human Resources function or as a consultant within a human capital practice.You'll have good knowledge of Human Resources tools, methodologies and frameworks, with practical experience of applying them to deliver business benefits and experience of developing Human Resources solutions across different business functions and across a large international organisation You will need to have strong commercial awareness and experience of costing solutions and articulating the benefits of change. You need to be able challenge assumptions in a constructive way. There will be mutiple projects so a working knowledge of project management methodology and planning processes would be useful as well as the ability to take a systematic approach to project delivery whilst working at pace Other Desirable experience * experience of working as a specialist within Organisation Design, but we would also consider someone with people change / transformation, Reward, or Talent experience * experience of role design, job evaluation and benchmarking * Detailed knowledge and experience of using research and analytical techniques to review and assimilate a wide range of data and information to support the diagnosis of opportunities and to support the development of design solutions * An understanding of how organisation strategy and operating model influence future capability requirements, structure and people processes The BenefitsIn return for your skills and experience, we offer competitive salary and benefits package including:- contributory pension, great training and learning and development opportunities as well as a discount scheme involving lots of high street retailers and service providers.
