Job Summary
This role is for 40 hours a week covering 5 shifts from Monday to Sunday (2 days off). You would be managing a smallĀ but growing team in our high care facility within our Greenford warehouse. You will need to be physically strong; there is manual handling involved including lifting sacks of fruit and vegetables.
It is essential that you are familiar with how a food production area works and have had experience in managing a team of people.
Responsibilities and Duties
This role will include overseeing:
Picking and packing raw fruits and vegetables.
Preparing fruits and vegetables for production.
Using various equipment to slice, peel and chop vegetables.
Cleaning ingredients, machinery and the 3-prep area.
Packing orders for retailers
Completion of records to SALSA and BRC standards.
Completing staff reviews
Assisting in recruiting team members
Liaising with the Operations Manager to improve processes and productivity.
Qualifications and Skills
2 Year Food Production experience
Food Hygiene level 3
Management experience
Salsa Auditing
Interest in food
Good level of English and communication
Good personal hygiene
Follow processes and procedures as and when required.
